Handwave CR Meme + Mini Intermission Announcement!

It’s nearly time! With the intermission event and season 5 fast approaching, here’s a catch-up/handwaved CR meme for all our survivors! Just write up a summary of what your character has been up to since their round and, if you want CR with someone but haven’t had the chance to thread with them, this is a great place to hash it out!

And a quick announcement regarding the intermission: when we were scheduling, we forgot to take into account the holiday and feel like it would be a waste not to take advantage of what is (for some of our US players, Dad included) a three-day weekend. Because of this we’ll be adjusting the dates of the intermission just slightly. Instead of running it from Thursday (1/11) to Sunday (1/14), the intermission is going to run from Friday (1/12) to Monday (1/15). We apologize for any inconvenience and the short notice.

Clarith has mostly kept to herself. She cooks and cleans but otherwise she's timid about interacting with others because of how Queenie's case went. She does, however, wear the ribbon Yuuri gave her for the holidays.

Lucina would be working her butt off to make sure life is relatively comfortable in Deadland; scavenging, hunting, training and teaching people in sord, that sort of thing.

More than likely he's been spending a large portion of his time with his R3 survivors - so if anyone wants to work out some details there, come at me. But! He won't have been completely anti-social and would want to have talked with people from other rounds, so if there's anyone from the other rounds that wants to plan out some CR/talks/shenanigans he might have had there.

In his own time, he's been working through the good alcohol at a pace that won't be worrying for people concerned about his liver (... hahahHA...) and doing as much research as he can about the network and people connected to it without raising any alarms - kinda like how he might've done when R3 were swashbuckling space pirates.

Yurika has been busy all of New Year's cleaning and worked on making the holiday include parts of everyone's cultures. She's trying to keep herself occupied so she doesn't get depressed, but she did spend a lot of time alone in her room sulking on Christmas. She tries to get along with everyone, at least...

Yuuri's got a pretty consistent daily schedule at Spsciene (space science) House so I'll go over it here really quick!

She's usually up pretty early in the mornings and goes out running, then when she gets back she cleans up, showers and gets onto chores. If no one else is already on it, she'll make lunch for herself and whoever feels like eating too. After that she'll do sword training with Team Royals and have some wind down time to herself, usually in the garden before she heads back in to get changed and make dinner for whoever wants to eat.

In a more general sense, Yuuri's obviously been spending a lot of time with her fellow R2 survivors and she was watching a whole lot of Deadland when it was still up and running. She probably gave out gifts to people on Christmas and did a little get-together meal for everyone with Yurika and anyone else who wanted to land a hand on New Year's. SO BASICALLY; COME AT ME AND LET'S WORK OUT WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING OFFSCREEN AT SCIENCE GRANDPA'S HOUSE

Natsuhi's running and learning how to fight as well. So they've probably trained together?

Thomasin has been doing largely self-imposed chores, reading and writing when she can (and she will still take any lessons she can come by), gardening occasionally, cooking for herself, and doing all those things even more vigorously since Deadland went down! She doesn't know where to begin celebrating Christmas, because Puritans don't play that, but if the survivors got any of those spumpkins with the Halloween decorations, she probably eventually gutted one, saved the seeds, and passed those out in little bags to whoever she thought might want them. You know, so they can plant them wherever they go, when they definitely find permanent places they want to be and don't all die.

In general, she's still not in a great place, but it's a little less morose and a little more manic. She's more likely to seek out R1s for actually opening up, but she also spends a decent amount of time alone, and is happy to talk to whoever! Especially if the alternative is spending more time alone. Who wants some.

These two don't really get along and Natsuhi's kind of bad at adulting. But she might occasionally put a random cup of tea and some biscuits near Thomasin. Assuming they made up after Nappi's grump during the 'what do we do now' conversation.

I info dumped what Natsuhi was going to be doing on her CMO awhile back. But basically she's been moping and trying to make herself feel useful by helping in the house, learning how to tech, training so she isn't as much as a liability. She sticks to a routine and doesn't really celebrate the holidays.

She also mainly speaks to people from R1 and some from R2, most of the rest only get short conversations.

Xander has mostly been trying to learn more about modern technology and culture, as well as keeping everyone organized and in fighting shape. Otherwise he mostly reads and paints to keep himself distracted.As stated after the deadland intermission he has stepped back fully from any leadership duties.

Also he is very interested in learning modern weapons if anyone would be willing to work with him!

Soooo Pyrrha's got this handy dandy CMO on her journal that basically covers what she does in her daily routine. But basically she's been trying to remain chipper and helpful with everyone. Doing chores, keeping herself trained and also offering training to anyone else that wants it.

She's pretty dang social, and would like to get to know the rest of the survivors, so if there's any kind of CR/shenanigans you'd like her to have gotten into with your's, just say so.

Arianna has been trying to befriend everyone, a process that consists mostly of acting like she's already friends with everyone. She's also been giving sword and staff lessons to anyone who wants them, and practicing with both herself. Other typical Arianna activities include being nosy when other people are doing things, and screwing around on the Spinternet learning memes and useless trivia research. Occasionally she's been practicing her cooking (she's gradually gotten competent at some simple dishes) and doing silly things like building blanket forts.

She's also been feeling totally useless but she's not really sharing that with most people.

YOU KNOW... Fukawa would love to learn how to actually use a good and normal weapon.

But also just. Getting people/social interaction lessons. Teach her how to build a blanket fort Arianna.

Yl'lb has been at home a lot more often recently, given that he's no longer filming anything and has been picking up fewer speaking engagements! He has definitely been holding basic science and tech classes for any of the survivors who are interested, and will also let people help with household stuff and also tend the fish if they're interested. In a less structured but still pretty deliberate effort, he’s also tried to acquaint everyone with the basics of culture and society in this sector of the galaxy, at least enough so they won’t stumble into any ridiculous faux pas that aren’t like, intentional. He's pretty social and tries to get to know everybody at least a little, because you are living in his actual house.

Choromatsu has been completely miserable since shit went down for Deadland and... has probably not been fun to interact with at all. The fact that it would have been Christmas season back on earth until recently made him even worse tbh, because the Matsubros have issues with Christmas. But mostly yeah he’s bitter and frustrated about his bros and that he can’t just save them now. He has absolutely been distancing himself again, g-gomen...

Prior to finding out about season 1 though he was fairly social with the R2 space fam. He’s not quite as social with the R1 group and even less so with the R3s but he still would talk to any of them if approached. He spent a lot of time doing art stuff with Jamie for stress reasons until, again, R4 happened. (Also his hair had grown out for a while but he finally got it cut back to his usual style after Osomatsu “died”. There was absolutely an incident pre-R4 where he tried to cut his own bangs and it was a disaster.)

Since R4 he has been trying to learn how to fight and be more useful so he can save his loved ones. He’s trying to learn from Xander but he might have hit up anyone “strong” or with something to offer him so that’s absolutely a thing we can do for CR. Honestly he could stand to learn a lot of skills. Otherwise he can be found on his tablet usually either looking at fanworks out of morbid curiosity, tending to memorials he planted with Yuuri (at least until they leave Y’llb’s) or rewatching parts of the bonus content that involve his brothers. If anyone shares a room with him, he falls asleep listening to his brothers every night now.

Nari will have done her duty as medic and checked on anyone who wants a checkup and has done her best to attempt to get everyone to live a little healthier. Meanwhile, the room she's been hiding in is now a clinic full of things she's gotten on their mall adventures to help keep everyone in one piece.

Also looked into how she can become a doctor, and in the very early mornings gone back to her roots and practice things her mom has taught her when it comes to fighting. Ability control would be a big part of that.

Togami continues being rather aloof towards pretty much everyone. He has been accepting Fukawa's presence and given her a temporal role as his assistant.

Although he continues his illegal financial operations, he has been focusing on making individual funds for everyone, despite that delaying a lot the possibility of buying a fully equipped spaceship that can house everyone.

He also has inquired others about using their talents to create some small companies and earn more money that way, all under the guise of a false front enterprise.

He may or may not have taken charge of spreading Fukawa's new books throughout the universe.

tl;dr: he has been making everyone richer and not looking to spend time with anyone specific, but he also doesn't exactly push anyone away, he welcomes anyone who wants to talk with him -- or drag him away from the damn stock charts and do something fun.

Max Caulfield just kind of... hangs around? She's actually out of her room much more now, since the rerun of S1 ended. She does a lot of like. Taking pictures? Drawing pictures? Yes. And Noctis is helping teach her how to fight so she's also exercising and whatever. And she still 100% makes waffles for people.

What hands do y'all wanna wave?

The Doctor would've tried to bring up "hey, time travel really shouldn't work that way and also Fixed Points suck" but he wouldn't. Like. Force it, I guess.

The Doctor has been spending a lot of time on the Temerity, picking through the systems trying to find out if there's some kind of tracking device he could've missed or something.

He probably also at least tried to install some kind of actual kitchen. Like at least a minifridge and a microwave or something. There is no muffin button.

He's also been working on upgrading the Shadowdroid, at least in terms of actually housing CECEmina's AI.

And he's been trying to map out the history of the universe they're in and find out where it diverged from the history he knows. And he's probably asked the other champions at least a little about the histories of their worlds, for similar reasons.

Anything else anyone wants to handwave?

Edit: also he's sort of adopted one of the Galaxy Pigeons. Her name is Pippa and he talks to her.

Also he'd probably be pretty sure she's from normal earth by this point.

Without question, Fukawa has been working hard to be useful to the group. While that typically doesn't mean seeking them out, with the exception of your R3 family, she'd never turn any of the survivors away.

She's naturally accepted her offered place as Togami's assistant and has let him sell the books she's written in order to put together more funds for them all. If for some reason any of them wanted to read them though, she'd make sure they had a copy.

That aside, she's been keeping up her training and maintaining her self-taught ability as the pirate spaceship driver. But she'd have been happy to learn any skills from the survivors she doesn't already have. She could stand to be a little better at cooking and baking. And she'd absolutely spar with anyone-- although if they want to spar with Syo that might require a little more convincing.

Speaking of which-- Syo hasn't been around but a small handful of times. But if you're in a relationship/banging someone, expect that she's probably asked you for the dirty details. I'm sorry. She may have also made some low-key advances on the other attractive people here. But if you've seen her around Togami you might be surprised to find that she's like a good little dog when he gives her an order. It's... yeah.
